Summer Activity Afternoons
"Funtastic activities for the holidays"
Join the BlueBoxt team for an afternoon of creative fun for ages from 4 to 14 years old. We’ll be offering a selection of indoor and outdoor activities including Crafty Crafts, Scavenger Squad, Melody Makers, Team Players and Stage Stars. Our Culinary Cadets will be helping us to explore and create nutritious snacks too.
During the sessions, you will be able to help us choose and take part in arts, crafts, drama, music, sports, games and preparing food. We won’t be able to fit everything in every session, but we’ll try and pack in as much as we can! Fingers crossed that the sun will be shining so we can be indoors and outdoors, go for a walk and visit the local play park.
The sessions will take place on Tuesdays 6th, 13th and 20th August, 2024 from 1.00pm till 5.00pm at Thornborough Hall, Leyburn | DL8 5AB.
The Oak Room located next to Leyburn Library and the lawns will become a hub of indoor and outdoor activities including:

“Thornborough Hall is a great community facility for indoor and outdoor play. I keep discovering fun places to hide clues for our Scavenger Hunts!” says events coordinator Jennifer Saggers, “We have lots of exciting things planned for families to take part in.”
Registration costs £24 per child, per session
which includes healthy snacks and Teatime meal.
FREE PLACES
Vouchers are available from schools to enable those who face financial hardship to attend FREE of charge.
The activity days are part of a new initiative to support families during school holidays and offer a year-round programme of affordable events and creative activities. We are part of the Feat programme delivered by North Yorkshire Together.
